Regional
Through reginal projects, partnerships and activities, cewas aims to support and develop (disruptive) innovators and entrepreneurs to develop financially viable services and products and solve key water related challenges through. Specifically, by these activities, we at cewas work on facilitating the outcomes of the entrepreneurs’ efforts and to enhance the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem for them. Jointly with key stakeholders from the entrepreneurship sector, the financial sector and academia, we focus at improving the ecosystem conditions such as financial support systems, business support services and Intermediaries as well as young talent growth in the water and environmental sector.
Palestine
cewas Middle East first Start-Up Programme in Palestine was launched in 2015. Two year-long programmes have been conducted, incubating around 15 innovative start-ups through training modules, invididualized coaching, mentoring and networking activities. In 2018 and together with BuildPalestine, the “Social Entrepreneurship Series” had been launched, a monthly series on various topics of relevance to social entrepreneurship in Palestine. The aim is to engage the community to build up support structures for social enterprises in Palestine.
Jordan
cewas Middle East’s entrepreneurship activities in Jordan started in April 2017 with the first dedicated start-up programme for entrepreneurs and professionals with a strong motivation to create financially viable solutions for the water, sanitation and waste sector.Since 2017, over 50 start-ups have taken part in three year-long Start-up Programmes. During the course, entrepreneurs have been trained and supported in the formation of their business or project with advanced training modules, business coaching and consulting by sector experts and an extensive regional and international network.
Lebanon
cewas Middle East has been working in Lebanon since 2017. Since then, we have co-implemented several start-up programmes for water and environmental entrepreneurs, (co)-organized networking events and award ceremonies with support of our partners and sponsors (the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Berytech, Rotary Clubs, Foundation Diane and many more). We also conducted a number of SSWM trainings for water sector practitioners and work with local media on raising awareness regarding water and environmental topics. Iraq
Our activities in Iraq started in 2017. Since 2019, we have been running several programs and activities such as training courses, seminars, innovation competitions, business development coaching sessions and other tools, in the aim of increasing demand for sustainable water and sanitation solutions as well as activating the market of water and sanitation innovation

بدأ سيواس العمل في الشرق الأوسط في عام ٢٠١٥ وتم ذلك بتنظيم أول برنامج احتضان للشركات الناشئة في مجال المياه والصرف الصحي. منذ ذلك، نظمنا عدة برامج في فلسطين، واحتضنا أكثر من 15 شركة ناشئة مبتكرة من خلال توفير أنشطة تدريب والتوجيه والتشبيك. لهذا اليوم، قمنا بتنظيم وتنفيذ مجموعة واسعة من الأنشطة في الأراضي الفلسطينية منها برامج الاحتضان، وسلسلة محاضرات متخصصة بريادة الأعمال الاجتماعية ، وغيرها من النشطات والفعاليات.
بدأت منظمة سيواس أنشطتها في مجال ريادة الأعمال في الأردن في نيسان ٢٠١٧، وذلك كان أول برنامج احتضان مخصص لرياديي الأعمال والمهنيين الذين لديهم دافع واهتمام قوي لخلق حلول مجدية مالياً في قطاعات المياه والصرف الصحي والنفايات. منذ عام ٢٠١٧، انضم أكثر من ٥٠ شركة ناشئة ومبتكرإلى برامج الاحتضان الخاصة بنا. خلال هذه البرامج ، تم تدريب رياديي الأعمال ودعمهم في تشكيل أعمالهم من خلال وحدات تدريبية متقدمة ، وتوجيه واستشارات في مجال الأعمال من قبل خبراء القطاع وعملية التشبيك إقليمياً وعالمياً.
بدأت سيواس العمل في لبنان عام ٢.١٧. منذ ذلك الحين، شاركنا في تنفيذ العديد من الاحتضان لأصحاب المشاريع المائية والبيئية ، ونظمنا (بالمشاركة مع شركاء محليين) فعاليات للتشبيك وحفلات توزيع جوائز مالية للريادييم بدعم من شركائنا (اوكالة التنمية والتعاون السويسرية، وبيريتك ، ونوادي الروتاري ، ومؤسسة ديان وغيرها الكثير). لقد أجرينا أيضًا عددًا من الدورات التدريبية الخاصة بالإدارة المستدامة للمياه والصرف الصحي لممارسي قطاع المياه وعملنا مع وسائل الإعلام المحلية لزيادة الوعي بشأن أهمية المياه والمواضيع البيئية في لبنان والمنطقة. لمزيد من المعلومات، تابعوا صفحاتنا على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
بدأت أنشطتنا في العراق في عام ٢.١٧. منذ عام ٢.١٩ ، ندير العديد من البرامج والأنشطة مثل الدورات التدريبية اللاستدامة في إدارة المياه والندوات ومسابقات الابتكار وجلسات التدريب على تطوير الأعمال وغيرها من الفعاليات. الهدف هو زيادة الطلب على حلول المياه والصرف الصحي المستدامة وكذلك تنشيط سوق ابتكارات المياه والصرف الصحي.
